Mark Orazem

Mark E. Orazem, Ph.D., is a distinguished professor in the Chemical Engineering Department at the University of Florida. He earned his Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the University of California at Berkeley and his master’s and bachelor’s degrees in chemical engineering from Kansas State University. Dr. Orazem is the Immediate Past President of the International Society of Electrochemistry, a fellow of The Electrochemical Society, the recipient of the 2012 Electrochemical Society Linford award and has co-authored a book on electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. His research interests include corrosion and cathodic protection, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, and mathematical modeling.
