Mavis Agbandje-McKenna

Mavis Agbandje-McKenna, Ph.D. (†), was a professor in the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Department at the University of Florida. She earned her Ph.D. in biophysics at the University of London and completed a postdoctoral research assistantship in the Department of Biological Sciences at Purdue University, Indiana. Her research focuses on viruses and their applications as gene therapy vectors, vaccines and other therapies.
