Maurice Swanson

Maurice Scott Swanson, Ph.D., is a Professor in the Department of Molecular Genetics & Microbiology at the University of Florida College of Medicine. He earned his doctorate from the University of California, Berkeley, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Northwestern University. He was named a Research Foundation Professor and received a Faculty Achievement Recognition from the University of Florida. His research interests include RNA-mediated diseases and RNA processing regulation during embryogenesis and postnatal development.
