David Muir
David F. Muir IV, Ph.D., is a professor in the department of Pediatrics and Neuroscience at the University of Florida College of Medicine and McKnight Brain Institute. Dr. Muir received his Ph.D. in Neurobiology from the City University of New York at Mount Sinai Medical Center. At UF, Dr. Muir developed and patented several nerve repair technologies which served as the foundation for a startup that produces the first nerve allografts for clinical use. UF has executed more than 20 licenses for Dr. Muir's developments.
