Sartaj Sahni
Sartaj Sahni, Ph.D., is a Distinguished Professor in the Computer and Information Science and Engineering Department at the University of Florida, where he served as Chair from 2001 to 2011. He is the author or co-author of approximately 200 journal articles and 15 computer science textbooks. Dr. Sahni holds 16 patents related to data structures and algorithms, computational geometry and computer-aided design of VLSI chips. He earned his master’s and doctoral degrees at Cornell University.
