Warren Dixon

Warren Dixon, Ph.D., is a professor and department chair at the University of Florida in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. He received his Ph.D. from Clemson University in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2000. His work was recognized by the IEEE Control Systems Technology Award and in 2012, 2013, 2017. In 2018, he received the University of Florida College of Engineering Doctoral Dissertation Mentoring Award. His main research interest is developing and applying Lyapunov-based control techniques for uncertain linear systems.
