Michael McVay

Michael McVay, Ph.D., is a Professor in the Department of Civil and Coastal Engineering at the University of Florida. Since his early Ph.D. work in 1981, which focused on buried pipes and culverts, Dr. McVay has actively specialized in the study of soil-structure interaction, theoretical soil mechanics, numerical methods in geotechnical engineering, and flow through porous media. He is the author of more than 90 papers, articles, and reports.
