Desmond Schatz
Desmond A. Schatz, M.D., is a Professor and Associate Chairman of Pediatrics, Medical Director of the Diabetes Center, and Associate Director of the General Clinical Research Center at the University of Florida. He is a physician-scientist and is the Principal Investigator on multiple funded peer reviewed grants from the National Institutes of Health and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Dr. Schatz has published more than 180 manuscripts and book chapters.
