Kevin Folta
Kevin M. Folta, Ph.D., is a professor and chair of the Horticulture Sciences Department at the University of Florida, where he heads a laboratory group. He earned his M.S. in Biology at Northern Illinois University and completed his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology at the University of Illinois, Chicago. He has authored or coauthored more than 90 scholarly publications on the functional genomics of agriculturally important traits in fruit crops, light control of plant processes, and the genetic basis of flavors.
