Shouguang Jin

Shouguang Jin, Ph.D., is a professor at the Department of Molecular Genetics and Microbiology at the University of Florida College of Medicine. Dr. Jin completed his M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Washington. He has received multiple awards for his work, including the Charles C. Randall Award, South Carolina Branch of American Society for Microbiology. Dr. Jin’s research interests are bacterial type III secretion systems, mechanisms of bacterial multidrug resistance, and host-pathogen interactions.
