Yunmei Chen
Yunmei Chen, Ph.D., is a distinguished professor in the mathematics department at the University of Florida. Her research interests include optimization techniques and applications in imaging, machine learning and neuron network computing, partial differential equations (PDE)/variational methods for image processing, medical image analysis, PDE and nonlinear analysis. She earned her Ph.D. in mathematics at the Fudan University, China, in 1985.
