George Christou, Ph.D., is a distinguished professor and the Drago Chair of Chemistry at the University of Florida, where he heads a research group that synthesizes and studies polynuclear transition metal cluster compounds. He earned his undergraduate and doctoral degrees at the University of Exeter in England before holding a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Manchester and NATO fellowships at Stanford and Harvard Universities. His research interests include synthetic inorganic chemistry, multinuclear metal complexes, molecular nanoscience, and bioinorganic chemistry.
