Kyle Allen

Kyle D. Allen, Ph.D., is an assistant professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Florida. He earned his Ph.D. in Bioengineering at Rice University. Dr. Allen’s research focuses on preclinical rodent models of orthopedic diseases with the long-term research goal of improving preclinical-to-clinical translation of emerging diagnostics and therapeutics for degenerative joint diseases. His research interests include where he specializes in rodent models, soft tissue mechanics, gait mechanics and tissue engineering.
