Sergei Shabanov
Sergei V. Shabanov, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Mathematics and an Affiliate Professor of Physics at the University of Florida. He earned his Ph.D. in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from Russia’s St. Petersburg State University in 1988. His honors include the V.A. Fock Prize (a national award) in mathematical physics from the Russian Academy of Sciences in 2010. A skilled instructor, Dr. Shabanov also received the University of Florida’s Teacher of the Year Award in 2009.
