Saeed Moghaddam

Saeed Moghaddam, Ph.D., is a Knox T. Millsaps associate professor in the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department at the University of Florida. His academic research is in micro/nanoscale interfacial transport, micro/nanoengineering, and absorption systems. Dr. Moghaddam’s work on nanoengineered membranes, and their transport characteristics and miniaturization has been highlighted in Nano Science and Technology Institute (NIST) Innovation Spotlight, Nature Nanotechnology, New Scientist magazine, and 2010 Guinness World Records. His research team has successfully demonstrated the membrane-based absorption and desorption processes with a significantly higher performance than existing technologies and presented an extensive understanding of the physics of processes along with innovative component and system level solutions.
