Sean Meyn
Sean Peter Meyn, Ph.D., is a Professor, Robert C. Pittman Eminent Scholar Chair at the University of Florida, Director of the Laboratory for Cognition & Control, and director of the Florida Institute for Sustainable Energy. He earned his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Science Engineering from McGill University, Canada in 1987. He has held visiting positions at universities in various locations around the world, including the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore from 1997-1998 where he was a Fulbright Research Scholar. He was a visiting professor at MIT and United Technologies Research Center during his sabbatical from 2006-2007.
