Prabir Barooah

Prabir Barooah, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of Florida. He earned his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of California. He received the NSF CAREER award in 2010 and the General Chairs’ Recognition Award for Interactive papers at the 48th IEEE Conference on Decision and Control in 2009. His research interests include distributed control of energy systems for smart grid and green buildings, estimation in ad-hoc and mobile sensor networks, and cooperative control of autonomous agents.
