Cristhian Ildefonso

Cristhian Ildefonso, Ph.D., is an assistant professor in the Department of Ophthalmology Research at the University of Florida. He received his Ph.D. in translational biology and molecular medicine at Baylor University and proceeded to complete his postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Florida. His research interest focuses on understanding the role of the ocular immunology in neurodegenerative diseases such as uveitis, diabetic retinopathy, and age-related macular degeneration.
