Samuel Shangwu Wu, Ph.D., is a Professor and Associate Chair for research in the Department of Biostatistics at the University of Florida. Dr. Wu serves as Director of Biostatistics Core for the UF Claude D. Pepper Older Americans Independence Center, and Director of Biostatistics Core for the VA RR&D/HSR&D Center of Innovation on Disability & Rehabilitation Research and Specially Appointed Professor in the Department of Statistics at the Tianjin University of Finance and Economics. His expertise include adaptive design of clinical trials, simultaneous statistical inference, data confidentiality and privacy protection, and sports statistics.
