David Prevatt
David Otway Prevatt, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor at the University of Florida. He earned his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Clemson University in Georgia in 1998. Dr. Prevatt earned a Faculty Award from the Board of Trustees of Clemson University in 2007. He is a member of the College of Engineering School of Sustainable Infrastructure and Environment, and his research interests include forensic engineering and failure investigations, wind effects on low-rise buildings, and performance of building envelope systems.
