Arthur Hebard
Arthur F. Hebard, Ph.D., is a Distinguished Professor in the Department of Physics at the University of Florida. He received his Physics Ph.D. from Stanford University in 1971. A recipient of the American Physical Society’s James C. McGroddy Prize for New Materials, he is an internationally renowned expert on the electronic properties of materials. His lab’s research is based on recognizing that unusual physical phenomena occur in restricted dimensions. With several patents under his belt and a number of publications, Dr. Hebard is fittingly regarded as one of the forerunners in the field of superconductivity.
