Sanjeev Koppal

Sanjeev J. Koppal, Ph.D., is an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the University of Florida. He earned Ph.D. degree from the Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon University in 2009. He is the principal investigator in the Florida Optics and Computational Sensor (FOCUS) Lab at the University of Florida. Dr. Koppal’s research interests are in computer vision, computational photography and optics, including novel cameras and sensors, 3D reconstruction, physics-based vision and active illumination.
