John Lednicky

John Lednicky, Ph.D. is a research professor in the Department of Environmental and Global Health at the University of Florida. He earned his Ph.D. in microbiology from the University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Lednicky’s research interests include aerobiology, arbovirology, virus discovery, transmission of respiratory viruses, biodefense, and biosurveillence. He has published numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and several book chapters related to his research interests, and is a proponent of live-agent tests for biohazard analyses.
