Alberto Riva
Alberto Riva, Ph.D., is an Associate Scientist in the Bioinformatics Core at the Interdisciplinary Center for Biotechnology Research at the University of Florida. He is a bioinformatician with a background in computer science, artificial intelligence, medical informatics, and computational biology, and is an expert in the design, development and application of computational tools for genomics, genetics and biomedical research. Dr. Riva has experience developing scientific software and analysis pipelines in a large number of environments and programming languages, including high-performance computing clusters.
