John W. Conklin, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of Florida. He has worked at the W.W. Hansen Experimental Physics Laboratory at Stanford University, was the Fulbright Junior Lecturer at the University of Trento in Italy, and has won numerous awards for his work including the NASA Early Career Faculty Award and the Balhaus Prize for best Ph.D. thesis in Aeronautics at Stanford. Dr. Conklin received his Ph.D. from Stanford University in 2009, and his research interests include development of precision instruments for spacecraft navigation and gravitational science.
