Andrew Settles

Andrew Mark Settles, Ph.D., is the Vasil-Monsanto Professor of Plant Cell and Molecular Biology at the Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences at the University of Florida. Dr. Settles earned his Ph.D. from SUNY Stony Brook. He earned the HHMI Science for Life Distinguished Undergraduate Mentor Award in 2010 and is a University of Florida Research Foundation Professor for 2016. His research interests include maize genetics and genomics, seed development, and seed phenomics.
