Wen-Yuan Song, P.h.D., is an associate professor of plant pathology at the University of Florida. He earned his Ph.D. in plant molecular biology from the Institute of Genetics, Academia Sinica in China and his B.S. in biochemistry from Lanzhou University in China. His research focuses on the molecular mechanisms of plant immunity and improving disease resistance in crops.
