Juan Gilbert

Juan Eugene Gilbert, Ph.D., is the Andrew Banks Family Preeminence Endowed Chair and the associate chair of research in the Department of Computer and Information Science and Engineering at the University of Florida. Dr. Gilbert earned his Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Cincinnati in 2000. He has research projects in spoken language systems, advanced learning technologies, usability and accessibility, ethnocomputing (culturally relevant computing) and databases/data mining.
