James Baciak

James E. Baciak, Ph.D., is an associate professor of nuclear engineering in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Florida and the current director of the nuclear engineering program. He earned his Ph.D. in nuclear engineering from the University of Michigan. Dr. Baciak is an associate editor for IEEE Transactions on Nuclear Science and the current chair for the International Society Scholarship Policy and Coordination Committee. His research interests include gamma-ray spectroscopy, cargo, monitoring, and environmental sampling.
