Ioannis Ampatzidis, Ph.D., is a professor of precision agriculture engineering at the University of Florida. He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees, as well as his Ph.D. from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Dr. Ampatzidis’ research involves mechanization and automation within citrus, vegetable, and specialty crop production to optimize the management of inputs, resources, and products.
