Josephine Allen

Josephine Allen, Ph.D., is an associate professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Florida. Dr. Allen earned her Ph.D. in interdepartmental biological sciences from Northwestern University. She leads the Allen Research Group, which conducts research on biomaterials, cell-material interactions, and stem cell differentiation. Her research focuses on developing strategies to control adult stem cell differentiation for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine.
