Charles Martin
Charles R. Martin, Ph.D., is The Colonel Allen R. and Margaret G. Crow Professor of Chemistry, and a University of Florida Distinguished Professor. He earned his Ph.D. in analytical chemistry from the University of Arizona in 1980. Dr. Martin received the American Chemical Society, Division of Analytical Chemistry Award in Electrochemistry in 2010. He was also the 2009 recipient of the Charles N. Reilley Award of the Society for Electroanalytical Chemistry, the 2005 recipient of the Florida Award of the Florida Section of the American Chemical Society, and the 1999 recipient of the Carl Wagner Memorial Award of the Electrochemical Society. His research interests include bioanalytical chemistry, the bio/nano interface, nanoscience, and electrochemistry.
