David A. Ostrov, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology, Immunology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Florida. He earned a B.A. at the University of Colorado, Boulder, and a Ph.D at the University of Washington, Seattle, before completing a post-doctoral fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, New York. Dr. Ostrov’s projects focus on X-ray crystallography to answer questions regarding immune recognition and methods in structure-based drug design to develop novel therapies for human diseases, such as cardiovascular disease and cancer.
