Christopher R. Cogle, M.D., is a physician-scientist in the Department of Medicine at the University of Florida. He achieved expertise in hematological malignancies and vascular protection of cancer cells. Dr. Cogle has a track record of translating laboratory discoveries into the clinic by using his cancer models to produce FDA IND-enabling results. He also led early-phase clinical trials of his new drugs in his leukemia clinic at the University of Florida. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society has recognized him as a Scholar in Clinical Research, and the MDS International Foundation has designated his clinic a Center of Excellence.
