Jeffrey Bloomquist Jeffery Bloomquist, Ph.D., is a professor of entomology and nematology for the Emerging Pathogens Institute and Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences at the University of Florida. Dr. Bloomquist earned his doctorate in entomology from the University of California, Riverside in 1984. His research interests include neuroscience and toxicology in insects and mammals and developing chemical control methods.
