Juan Carlos Villatoro, Ph.D., trained in the U.S. Navy, the University of North Florida, and the University of Florida, where he studied in the Engineering School of Sustainable Infrastructure & Environment (ESSIE). His interests lie in minimizing the impact of human progress by recapturing valuable resources already in use, accomplishing this in an economically and environmentally friendly way.
