Per Andreas Enqvist, Ph.D., is an associate professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Florida. Dr. Enqvist earned his Ph.D. in nuclear engineering at Chalmers, University of Technology, Sweden. His research interests include nuclear safeguards, detection statistics of radiation from fissile materials, physics behind particle-detector interactions, data fusion, and radiation detection algorithms.
