Jyothier Nimmagadda Dr. Jyothier Nimmagadda, Ph.D., is a research assistant scientist in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Florida. He earned his Ph.D. in nuclear science and engineering from the Idaho State University. Dr. Nimmagadda’s research interests include Reactor physics, Monte-carlo simulations, Non destructive examination techniques such as neutron imaging using thermal and fast neutrons, x-ray backscatter imaging, and portal imaging for patients undergoing proton therapy.
