James Trainham

James Trainham, Ph.D., is a professor at the University of Florida Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering. He earned his Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the University of California, Berkeley in 1979. He received the Industry Leadership Award in 2016 and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers Award for Chemical Engineering Practice in 2002. He is a member of the U.S. National Academy of Engineering. His research interests include renewable energy and synthetic fuels.
