Isaac Adjei

Isaac Adjei, Ph.D., was a postdoctoral associate of the Sharma Lab in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Florida. He earned his Ph.D. from Case Western Reserve University in 2015 and also trained at the Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Adjei earned both the Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award for Individual Predoctoral Fellowships and a grant from the National Institute of Health. His research focuses on the development of drug delivery systems to improve stem cell-based therapies and cancer immunotherapy, as well as the development of in vitro 3D tumor models that recapitulate the in vivo interactions between cancer cells and immune cells.
