John Murray

John Murray, MD is an associate professor of surgery and the Chief of the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Jacksonville. He earned his MDin 1994 from Emory University in Atlanta, followed by his general surgery and plastic surgery residences in 1999 and 2001 from the same institution. Dr. Murray specializes in aesthetic surgery, body contouring, breast reconstruction, and reconstruction of traumatic and oncologic defects. His research interests include mesenchymal stem cell biosciences, translational clinical regenerative and restorative medicine, and tissue engineering.
