Hugh Fan

Hugh Fan, Ph.D., is a professor in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Florida (UF). He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Alberta, Canada and then worked in industry for 8 years before joining UF. Dr. Fan’s research interests include microfluidics, BioMEMS, sensors and bioengineering. His research focus is to develop microfluidics and BioMEMS technologies and discover biological applications for such innovations.
