Kari Basso

Kari B. Basso, Ph.D., is the director of the Mass Spectrometry Research and Education Center in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Florida. The center serves as a resource for researchers by giving them access to a wide variety of mass spectrometry instruments and bioinformatic tools. She earned her Ph.D. in chemistry at Louisiana State University and Agricultural and Mechanical College. Dr. Basso’s research interests focus primarily in complex proteomic and lipidomic research projects.
