Sergei Kusmartsev

Sergei Kusmartsev, Ph.D., is an assistant professor in the Department of Urology at University of Florida. He received his Ph.D. in immunology from the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences and conducted his postdoctoral training at Mount Sinai Medical School and Duke University. The Kusmartsev Lab aims to better understand mechanisms of cancer-related inflammation and immune suppression within the tumor microenvironment to ultimately improve anti-tumor immune response in urologic cancer patients.
