Kirsten Pelz-Stelinski Kirsten Pelz-Stelinski, Ph.D., is an associate professor in in the University of Florida’s Department of Entomology and Nematology, specializing in vector biology and insect microbial community ecology. She is the associate center director of UF/IFAS Citrus Research and Education Center. She earned her dual degree Ph.D. in entomology and ecology, evolutionary biology, and behavior from Michigan State University in 2008.
