Ruogu Fang

Ruogu Fang, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in the J. Crayton Pruitt Family Department of Biomedical Engineering at University of Florida. She earned her Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering from Cornell University in 2014. Dr. Fang became an IEEE Senior Member in 2018. Her research interests include brain-inspired Artificial Intelligence and machine learning/deep learning for neurodegenerative diseases. She is currently the head of the SMILE lab, which aims to develop innovative computational models to understand, diagnose, and treat brain disorders in big and complex data.
