Brian Bartlett
Brian Bartlett lost his leg in a freak accident in 1998 when a truck hit him as he crossed the street. A competitive snow skier, Mr. Bartlett began creating his own prostheses so he could resume active competition. He later starting racing mountain bikes. He developed “The Bartlett Tendon,” a universal knee system that allowed him a prosthetic flexible and durable enough to handle the mud, snow, sand, and water he encountered in his training and competitions.
