Lina Cui, Ph.D., is an associate professor and graduate coordinator in the Department of Medicinal Chemistry in the College of Pharmacy at the University of Florida. She earned her Ph.D. degree in organic chemistry and glycobiology from the University of Alberta in Canada in 2009. The Lina Cui Laboratory integrates organic chemistry, molecular and cellular biology, and molecular imaging. The lab also develops molecular tools to detect senescence and DNA damage, applying these molecules in various collaborative projects to explore the progression of diabetes, neurodegeneration, and other age-related diseases.
