Michael McIntosh, Ph.D., is a professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Florida. He received his Ph.D. in molecular biology and biotechnology at Drexel Medical College. His research combines virus discovery and transcriptomics to reveal new diagnostic markers, host factors contributing to disease, and neutralizing antibody epitopes on viral surface proteins for the development of vaccines and antibody therapeutics.
