Whitney Stoppel

Whitney Stoppel, Ph.D., is an assistant professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Florida. She received her Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2014. Her laboratory’s research focuses on the development of new surgical material platforms with an emphasis on new paradigms in soft tissue repair that enable clinicians and surgeons to treat patients as a function of their clinical variables (age, biological sex, comorbidities, immune status).
